Jesus as PR

Today Michael Vick said he found Jesus.
It seems when celebrities get themselves
into trouble they say they found spirituality.
Another example of this is Paris Hilton when
she was about to be locked up. I would like to premise
what I'm about to say by stating I'm not trying to
question the honesty of the relationship these
celebs have with God because that is not the right
thing to do. I don't know their hearts and I truly hope
Michael Vick and Paris Hilton do have a relationship
with God.

I would just caution celebrities in using the name God
during a personal crisis. It might appear that they are
using faith as a public relations tool to get a more
favorable view from the American public and press.
Many people do turn to God during a crisis because their
world has just been shaken and they are asked to reevaluate
what is important in life. Let's just not make light of this
and make into some media tradition.
