In this segment from a Blogginheads.tv dialog Matt Lewis mentions
that conservatives fail to fund conservative bloggers compared to
their liberal counterparts.
I'm not sure why this is so. My first immediate thought as to why this
is: Many conservatives probably have the same view of blogging as they
do with the arts, it is not a real job. Why would they give money for
someone to sit around all day and blog? I'll give you an example of this.
When Bill O'Reilly talks about the blogosphere one would think that all
bloggers sit around all day eating Cheerios and being vile. He doesn't
get the internet and I bet there are plenty (not all) of conservatives that
view the internet like that. Many conservatives come from an older
generation and do not see yet see the value of the blogosphere.
