Al Franken Ad for U.S. Senate

"I was really more of a satirist."

Hey, why not vote for a former cast member of SNL for the U.S. Senate?
The presidential race has turned into American Idol. What matters now is
who has the most charisma, name recognition, and can give us a sassy
2 second sound bite. It's no longer who has the best policy positions but
who's perfect for television.

Speaking of American Idol, I better get my DVR ready for tonight:)

We are talking about a state that elected Jesse Ventura for Governor. At least Al Franken has an educational background that doesn't run counter to him running for senate.
