No suprise: Texas leads in carbon emissions

This morning when I read this headline "Texas
leads carbon emissions," I was not surprised.
According to this AP report, Texas, the leader in
emitting this (carbon) greenhouse gas, cranks out
more than the next two biggest producers combined,
California and Pennsylvania, which together have twice
Texas' population.

I've lived in this Texas almost my whole life. One thing
I have come to learn is that refineries are abundant
in the Lone Star State.
