The End of Road for Edwards and Giuliani
So finally the primary races get narrowed down. John Edwards exits.
Rudy Giuliani exits and will endorse McCain. In Giuliani's case, one
can't help to wonder what happened? He was in the lead in national
polls until a couple of months ago. He probably shouldn't have put all
his eggs in one basket.
John Edwards never got the media attention with two superstars running
in the Democratic race. It's like a popularity contest over there and he
lacked name recognition and charisma.
Exit question: Who gets Edwards' supporters now? I say Hillary gets his low
income supporters and Obama gets his stringent anti-Iraq war supporters.

It's Majorly On! It's time for Florida
So now that Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, Nevada, and South Carolina
have had their say in the Republican primary we now move on to the sunny
state of Florida. Polls are showing a really tight race between McCain, Giuliani
and Romney. Finally, Rudy comes into play. He seems pumped:

Who do you trust in times of crisis?
The Bhutto assassination brought foreign affairs back into
the campaign spotlight. McCain and Giuliani now have campaign
ads highlighting we still have international issues that need
to be dealt with.
These kind of ads are nothing new, I guess.

Presidential Candidates Get into the Christmas Ad Spirit
There's no better way to celebrate massive American consumerism,
I mean Christmas- Jesus' birthday, then heart warming political
advertisements. Here's the Obama family wishing voters a Merry
Christmas:
Here's Rudy Giuliani and more of his promises:
A holiday greeting from Mike Huckabee:
Hillary brings gifts that taxpayers paid for:
And please get your rest during the holidays presidential candidates because
you all are in for a big fight in Iowa and New Hampshire next month.
Oh yeah, and a Merry Christmas to you too!

Rudy Giuliani is also kinda funny
Here's a video in the tradition of the funny political ad:
Did you really think someone from the media capital of the
world would mess up in making a funny political video? I
think not!
Plus, The Daily Show writers are on strike so how else am I
suppose to get my daily laughs about current political news?
Tell me who do I turn to in these difficult times? Bill O'Reilly?

Blue Staters
I'm getting a real kick of hearing a former Mayor of New York
and a former Governor of Massachusetts argue who's the most
conservative. It's like a Oklahoman debating a Texan on the issue
of which state supports the liberal arts more.
I must say though, the chances of us having a Northerner win
the '08 election are looking really good.

GOP at the Value Voters Summit
Giuliani tries to reassure religious conservatives
who "fear him for his stand on issues such as abortion."
Oh, and here is an awesome quote on the topic
of being pro-life by Sen. McCain:

Headlines 05/09/2007
I know it still early in the 2008 Prez
election but there is a whole lot of news about it.
Republican Giuliani still pro-choice- "I hate abortion. I would
encourage someone to not take that option," the former mayor
said last week during the first GOP presidential debate. "But
ultimately, since it is an issue of conscience, I would respect
a woman's right to make a different choice."
Clinton ahead of Obama in polls- Senator Clinton has a 15
percentage point lead over Senator Obama. Well, the election
is still far off so we will see what happens.
Iraqi Christian Minority Flee- Three percent of the population
in Iraq are Christian.
Hamas Mickey Mouse- This is truly scary. Such a young age
to be propagandized.
TV Finales- So summer is right around the corner and you know what
that means...T.V. airs it's season finales. What am I going to do with
my pale T.V. watching self? Go outside? Yeah Right! No more
Dr. McCreepy or Dr. McDreamy till fall.
LaKisha or Blake?- American Idol is down to the final four and one
leaves tonight. Last night performances were not so good.
My guess is either Blake or LaKisha is leaving. They are both
talented.

Giuliani turns into Dr. Phil
Slate has animated a 1999 conversation
between Giuliani and a caller on his
radio program. He basically tells the man
he needs help. Watch it.
